 First Resource(Best):

https://www.techrepublic.com/article/what-makes-cybercrime-laws-so-difficult-to-enforce/

One of the biggest issues in enforcing cybercrime laws is simply enforcing them. Due to the internet being global, the offender may not be doing something considered “illegal” depending on the location of the offender. One of the biggest issues is simply jurisdiction. There isn’t much that the government can do if they don’t have jurisdiction in that area. Typically laws from nation to nation are agreed upon, but sometimes that isn’t the case.

Second Resource: https://us.norton.com/blog/how-to/how-to-recognize-and-protect-yourself-from-cybercrime

 First Resource: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2468067219300306

The article discusses the field of eco-acoustics, which involves analyzing stored datasets of captured environmental sound. Passive acoustic monitoring (PAM) devices are commonly used to record audio, with commercial devices being the preferred choice due to their high-quality recordings. However, these devices can be expensive, limiting their usage in certain projects that require coverage of larger areas. As a result, custom-designed, low-cost solutions have been developed using accessible and affordable single-board computers like the Raspberry Pi. While these solutions are cheaper, they have limitations such as high power consumption and the need for technical expertise to build them.

Second Resource(Best): https://globalconservation.org/news/tech-parks-trailguard-ai/

This article is about the TrailGuard, a new type of trail camera that incorporates onboard artificial intelligence to recognize people, vehicles, and specific wildlife species even in low-light conditions, without needing an internet connection. When activated, the AI system captures four images, and any containing positively identified people, vehicles, or wildlife are transmitted as an alert within two minutes via 2G mobile networks or long-range radio signals to a designated cell phone or computer. In partnership with Inmarsat, TrailGuard can also transmit images via mobile BGAN terminals in areas with scarce mobile networks at a cost of $20 or less per month. The AI system eliminates false alarms and extends battery life, and can detect intruders in uniforms, identify the weapons they carry, and re-identify suspects for use in prosecution. When integrated with EarthRanger, TrailGuard provides detailed intel that can better prepare rangers when intercepting criminals, potentially saving their lives.
